Family ABROAD: Welcome to this website.
And special the Biesbrock family in the U.S.A.
On this homepage we will give special attention to their descent.
Their direct ancestor is “Bastiaan Biesbroek”, born on the 27th of September 1829 in Puttershoek and had lived in Barendrecht, both the province of South-Holland.
This site started in 2003 and concerns all persons who have the name Biesbroek or Biesbrock.
This research started around 1963 in Ridderkerk
The aim of this site is:
- to do and let do historical, genealogical and heraldic research of the family “Biesbroek”, descended from Puttershoek in South-Holland (in the Netherlands), with relatives in the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New-Sealand
- to keep alive the familyhistory for our children and grandchildren and that so “the story is going on”.
They all have one ancestor in common: Jan Pieterzn Biesbroek, born on the 18the of June 1620 in Waregem ( Belgium)
To be able to realise this and to extend the contacts your help is indispensable.
I only got a few addresses in the U.S.A. and Canada.
So, I am looking forwards to your reactions by common mail or e-mail.
To keep in contact with the members abroad is an intensive and time-consuming business. And, comparing to the work, there is only a little bit response.
I will keep the English page on the site and where possible try to update it. But that will also depends of the information I’ll get. By e-mail or in another way.
